There doesn't appear to be font hinting for all the super and subscript numbers:
⁰¹²³⁴⁵⁶⁷⁸⁹₀₁₂₃₄₅₆₇₈₉

On my system (Ubuntu, ttf-dejavu 2.29-2) the numbers 1-4 show clearly while the others do not.

I am using these symbols in mathematical formulas.
