Description Mike A. Harris 2004-03-16 23:45:18 UTC
There are trademarked images of Gumby(TM) in the Xcursor cursors, which IMHO
should be removed or replaced. A google search for Gumby with the word
"trademark" reveals a number of lawsuits over the use of this mark, which
is a good sign to remove them.

There may be other trademarked images present as well which should be removed.
Someone should take a careful look.

They're not just trademark violations. Those images are straight out of an
original Gumby® animation, so they're copyright © violations as well. Never do
things half way is my motto!

Keith Packard said he will remove these.

I've replaced the fine gumby images with a less retro, but (I think) workable
cursor from clipart.freedesktop.org

I didn't bother to add shadows; others are welcome to hack the images, either
from the .pngs or from the .svg version.
