Description Krister Svanlund 2012-06-23 11:59:36 UTC
xrandr does not signal failure in a way that is easily usable in a shell script (for example). As far as I can see there is exactly one situation where a failure is signaled instead of for every possible failure.

xrandr 1.4 now returns error codes for many more cases, but I haven't checked
that it got all of them.
