Description Holger Schurig 2006-03-10 22:46:29 UTC
This is a bug similar to bug #6214.

When I cross-compile lib/Xt, then it want's to compile util/makestr with the
cross-compiler, and not with the native compiler for the build-system.

For hints, look at
http://www.andamooka.org/reader.pl?pgid=autobookautobook_271. Note that
$(CC_FOR_BUILD) does the right thing in the cross-compilation case as well as
in the native-compilation case.

Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future.

Is this still an issue?
Comment 3 Alan Coopersmith 2011-10-02 08:33:03 UTC
As far as I know, this is all fixed now:
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/lib/libXt/commit/?id=36e9f0d351afbf7fd2595990b2d39e7c551f6420
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/lib/libXt/commit/?id=f77482f0618f954de1d080599ada058e9a3c24ff

Marking resolved - if there are still cross-compilation problems, please
either submit patches to fix or reopen this bug with details of what's
still broken.
