Forward ported to HEAD and committed. Thanks! http://gitweb.freedesktop.org/?p=hal;a=commit;h=ff1246c473d915310fb218b1ee8914be5da742fb btw, do you guys have plans on moving to fd.o pm-utils at some point?
Thanks David! We'll not move to pm-utils for next Mandriva release for sure, we're to close to code freeze now. Currently, we're using custom scripts we've been maintaining for years: suspend-scripts http://cvs.mandriva.com/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/soft/suspend-scripts/trunk/?root=svn They contain a lot of hacks and workarounds for hardware that was problematic, but most of it is finally fixed in the kernel. We also made our hooks very configurable (see suspend.d for the hooks, and suspend.sysconfig for the configuration). We also use laptop-mode-tools, which looks more advanced than pm-powersave Well, maybe we can talk about that on the pm-utils ML
